Rear disc conversion problem

Did the brackets match each other exactly?

I know that the E350 rotor is slightly larger OD than other common (GM) 8lug rotors used for rear disc...

I think its the rotor itself....... curious...... dontcha luv that type of stuff?

Figured it out it’s a ford manufacturing issue, took the rotors and flipped them no difference. Then removed the brackets and compared them they look identical. Then I flipped them from one side to the other and the passenger side is still off. So I will have drill the mounting hole larger.

What does the fitting on the rear brake line do? I thought someone said it has to be removed for a disc brake conversion.

That valve maintains residual pressure for drum brakes. In the disc brake conversion it causes the brakes to drag on the disc and remain engaged. I took the guts out of mine and reinstalled with thread sealant ( teflon tape)
