Ran 25% w85 in my torpedo heater.

I've seen this topic over the years, but rarely in the posts I've read has there been a conclusion. Today I added a mix of 50%w85 (processed) and 50%1202 into a half-gone tank of kerosene. It ran normal. No smell or smoke. The unit is advertised as a Kero/diesel heater from dynaglo. Ambient was about 25*f.

My garage is uninsulated and not a tight envelope. YMMV. I will see if I can up the ante at some point soon.

Torpedo heater ... is that the horizontal forced fan burner that sounds like a jet engine in takeoff?
