What towcat posted is correct. The way I did mine was to take the peddle from the super duty truck I got the booster from. Its just remove one pin and pull out that shaft. And drop the peddle down. Its much harder to do on a standard trans truck. Its also a differant diameter shaft on the standard trans trucks. I'm able to weld most anything but.. I would not weld my peddle. Its not just simple cold rolled steel. Its very speciasl hard material because of the stress put on it from you foot or two on it during a panic stop. You know the one when you pull the steering wheel up to your chin and press the peddle thru the firewall attempting to stop quicker... Yeah... Weve all had them....

The donor was a 5 speed.I have no problem welding to the pedal.do I have to pull everything apart to get the pedal out? Or is there enough room to slide the shaft out?

I'm a bit confused... If you have a auto trans and your wanting to modify the peddle pin height just remove the end pin and slide out the peddle shaft. Then drop the peddle. So you want to weld the pin in a new location. Ok then grind off the weld. Push out the pin. Drill a large enough hole at the proper height and weld in the pin. Make sure the pin is located properly and is pushed thru the new peddle location so you can easily reassemble it. Now you need to weld in something to fill the open hole in the peddle or it will be weakened too much. Use either 7018 or 8018 stick rod. The 8018 is called or refered to as 1 1/4 chrome rod with an 80,000 psi breaking strength. 9018 is 2 1/4 chrome with a 90,000 psi breaking strength. The 7018 is 70,000 psi strength. They are all lo hi rods. That means they have a low hydrogen content. Remember your working with a peddle that has to preform better than anything under the dash.

there is no devoted 9th gen hydroboost brake pedal for your auto truck.
what i discovered however was that the push rod needed to be rotated 180 degree's (which makes the boo switch not possible to install "correctly") in order to make the pedal feel like a brake pedal instead of like pushing down on a solid rock...........no i don't understand the reason why this is.all i know is it just works.

F250, what did you do for the BOO switch then?

it required leaving out (iirc) the white washer/bushing or something like that,and kinda "tweaking" it on to fit.it was very odd.clearly not meant to be on this way.however the brake pedal totally sucked big time by leaving the rod spun around the way that the boo switch easily and very correctly slid right on.it's messed up man but everything works flawless.
there is still a great reduction of driver comfort.the vac brakes were much easier on the leg muscles.but the hydro stops her soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much easier that you'll easily live with it lol.
i wouldn't do the swap personally if i didn't haul heavy or run large tires.wouldn't be worth the expense nor driver comfort loss imho.

edit;
this is where i found the issue:
http://www.obspowerstroke.com/

click on hydroboost up top.then scroll way down to his update at the end.
i copied what he did and my god,my leg muscle sure was happy.

is it really that stiff of a pedal. the superduty trucks i have driven at work were no different than the pedal feel in my truck. only way to tell they were h-boost was hearing the p-steering pump when hitting the breaks.

Nice writeup. My peddle assembly does not look like that peddle assembly. Mine has a removable peddle shaft where the pictured setup does not. Also my peddle pin was much differant in height. So I needed the super duty peddle from the wrecking yard donor truck. As posted. There was a 1 inch differance in pin height.
