I got a pm today about the hard line size we have. The question was what size line clamp do we need for the kent moore timing meters. I checked and double checked mt meters and every clamp is the 1/4 inch line size and they fit fine. I recall once I think it was Russ mentioned something about the lines actually were a metric size. so what metric size is needed. Is it 6mm or 7mm. I'm away from the shop and any conversion table to look it up. Thanks all..

Interesting question. I had to whip out the calculator. I've gotten that lazy in my math.

6mm=0.23622inch
7mm=0.27559inch

Getting closer. You have it bracketed.

6.5mm=0.255905inch

Do they sell 6.5mm line? probably, somewhere.

Thanks Ken. I understand there is a 6mm available. Hopefully the person sending me the pm asking the question will see this..
