Call me crazy and I will understand, but I didn't have a pyro installed

, and that is why I was too chicken to hold it down and let it rev up....I wouldn't even hold the fuel down to make it get up to speed because as a trucker I know what excessive EGT's can do to an engine.

I am pretty easy with the truck and it only goes from home to work on flat level ground, through city traffic to and from, and NEVER sees anything above 70 km/h. Until I get a pyro installed I won't tow, or do anything abnormal with it other than driving to and from work, just becuse it could melt down under WOT.
As soon as I fix up the glow plug problem I plan on buying a good pyro and drill and tap the manifold to install it. I want to install a good set of mechanical guages to monitor oil pressure, transmission temperature and water temperature.....if I get really into it, maybe even an oil temperature guage too. THEN I can really do some work to the engine and know what is actually going on under the hood.
