PSD SWAP

So oldest daughter was driving the 97 (in my sig) in stop & go traffic and hit another truck. Insurance total'd truck but got to keep it so the 92 (in my sig) is still inop and I'm thinking of swaping the the psd in to the 92. Just wondering how hard this will be. also if anyone is interested I have an 88 6.9 with a banks sidewinder turbo setup on it the heads are studded and the motor has only 87000 miles after rebuild. also have an injector pump and lines.

thanks read the thread but has some conflicting info do I have to change all the wireing in the cab and the eng bay or just pull the eng & harness and plug in??

i am not sure but i would think that you could leave all the dash wireing and just use the PSD harness. as far as i know the only difference between the '92 and '97 was the IDI vs. PSD.
