This is a propane injection system for a genset. Ordered the regulator, and it comes with the 12V shut off solenoid. $149 from Nash Fuel on ebay. It's a KN regulator W/Fuelock, PN IMP-039-122-FL . It's for low pressure injection, that is 11" Hg. I don't know why this wouldn't work on an IDI or a PSD as the propane is injected into the air stream. I got this for my genset mounted on my cargo trailer, but am going to try it on my PSD for extra power climbing hills or starting out a heavy load. I intend to inject it directly into the air box, controlled just by an ON/OFF switch when needed.

What are your thought's?

should work. That is basically like what i have seen other do for propane systems on trucks - now all that I have seen were home grown systems so....

I've spent the last 4 hours researching propane injection for my 7.3...lots of how to do it, lots of "you're gonna blow yourself up!" and only 2 or 3 guys who say it works. I've found a couple who say vapour injection didn't work, but liquid would.
So oldbull8, did ya do it? And how'd it turn out?
