Heh, no worries. When he was talking about knockouts, is there just a piece of metal on the frame I could remove and put a manual crank in it?
there's a outline in the plastic door panel for the circular cutout for the regulator hole.
as far as the door shell, it's setup for manual or power windows. all you do is add or delete wiring.
i will post pics shortly.

I have power windows...Drivers side window is good for now, passenger needs to be slapped now and again. Locks don't work...pnumatically controlled??? Maybe just a bad hose.

Nope, lock are an electric actuator. I think it that age of vehicle, you can replace just the actuator. I had a 98 Sable Wagon and the actuator in the hatch was weak..... you had to replace the entire latch mechanism to fix it...... I just used the key when it was "in a mood".......

My '84 has power windows and locks. Actuators seem like they'll punch a hole in 1/2" plate. Windows, well, they need love. Kinda sluggish and need a helping hand once in a while. Can't go to manual windows now as I have re-engineered the doors for 6x9 speakers. I'd make sure to make whatever system you go with new. No sense in using used wear items.
