Brothers,

I got a bad power steering leak. I'm not sure exactly what leaks. This weekend I'm going to try and fix it. A rebuilt pump is cheap, so I already bought one. I'll change the pump, but what else should I do while "I'm in there"?

Thanks and everyone have a safe holiday weekend  ,

Don't forget. Type F fluid. Lady Moose has a leak there too, but like you I'm not sure where. It's not bad enough to worry with right now.

John, might check the low pressure return line. Ya know the one that rubs against the gear box.
Beef had a bad leak and after replacing the reservoir seal, and high pressure line seals AND 2 fillups of fluid. I finally started looking a little farther down and found the rubber line from the engine vibrations had actually worn a hole in the line causing the leak.

Good luck and Happy Holidays.
