I am installing a 7.3 na idi in a 1988 E350 Motorhome. The doner vehicle is a 1993 E350 with the A4OD transmission. The Motorhome had a C6 in it. I used the crossmember mounting plates from the 1993, which bolted right in after drilling out one rivet. My question is how much clearance should be between the passenger side valve cover and the doghouse flange? There is not enough room to get my fingers between there. The motor mount bolts that pass through the mounting plates are within 1/8" or less from the bottom of the "keyholes" and they are centered in the crossmember access holes. Has a fundamental mistake been made here? Thanks, Jim

Powertrain roll is spec’d at 3/4” clearance, sounds like your within spec.
