I have a 1988 f250 4X4 with the 7.3L IDI (non-turbo) engine. I bought this thing in New York (big mistake!), and every time I fix a brake line, another starts leaking.
The engine runs GREAT, with no smoke (so I'm sure the IP has never been turned up).
C6 Auto trans WAS working, but slipping between gears, so I installed a TransGo shift kit in it. Haven't driven it since I put it in, so don't know if that solved the slipping problem or not.
I've got an 8' Meyer snow plow w/mount, headlights and signals installed on the truck right now. Blade is in the yard next to the truck.
Two BRAND NEW 1,000 CCA batteries.
I just installed an injector seal kit (seals AND hoses), so the injectors don't leak AT ALL.
Bed is a heavy duty steel work (flat) bed.
If anyone has any need for any of the above, let me know what parts you want and make me an offer.
Want this thing out of my driveway, but don't want to GIVE it away, either - good engine, good transfer case, good (?) transmission, good snow plow...
