Hey Calvin, I ran across your recommendation to unbolt the cab and block it up about 6" to make it easier to remove an engine. This one needs a sticky:hail :hail :hail ;Sweet
I just had to pop my engine back out today to start messing with my freeze plugs the machine shop messed up, and that raising the cab bit makes it a walk in the park. Engine comes out turbo and all no fuss at all. First grunt and the thing was free. Going back in is going to be downright pleasant.

Thanks---------Robert

Beautiful thing about places like here is the "education" you won't find in school.
With smashed fingers, skinned knuckles and rapidly emptying wallets we're gathered here to share what our trucks have taught us the hard way:D
The cab removal trick was borrowed from doing injectors out of a PSD e-series ambulance. I did that once and won't ever touch one unless I was paid an ungodly amount of money-cuss-cuss-cuss
