Lol...I've heard that, bought a jeep one time that had been treated with this method! T86AA tranny...got lost for a Buick 225 and a 4 speed anyway, so no biggy!

I'm fixin to do a total oil change in my V10 (Engine, Trans, Diff). When I do, I'm going with 1 gal of Synthetic MERCON fluid (Just like the owner's manual says) plus a small bottle of Lucas additive. I figure it'll puke out what it don't want.

I run Amsoil CTL 50 wt synthetic ATF . I run the same stuff in my spicer 5831b brownie. IT does wonders for smooth shifting and cutting out rollover noise ( if you think a zf can kick out some rollover noise, you should hear that 50 year old Brownie with straight cut gears, with the original recommended lubes in it
