I'm the cotton swab
Just some food for thought here.
If I am on my front tank and the level is rather low - say below 1/4 tank like about 1/8 tank, and I park on a hill with the front end higher and let the van sit over nite, when I fire it up in the am, It will fire and run for a second then die - tons of cranking is needed after this to get it fired.
PArk on level ground - no issues. I think the tank pick up is coming uncovered with fuel, allowing air to seep in from the tank into the lines and thereby letting the fuel go back into the tank.
I have good return line o rings and good olives. Again, level ground - no issues. havent tried parking on a hill nose down yet.
If I let the van sit for a few hours - fires up and runs no issues.
Since my rear tank runs WMO and I shut down and fire up on the diesel filled front tank I havent tested the rear tank to see if this is the case.
Maybe my front pick up is broken off or short or whatever- does a van have a shower head? I had shower head issues on my F250 and my van doesnt act like that. (loosing fuel in curves of on off ramps)
Anyone else have this happen?
