New turn signal and headlights for the bricknose

I'm looking for decent quality turn signals and headlights for the 91. The headlights have been extrememly cloudy for a while, using one of the "kits" on them was a temporary fix. Now the other day while we were feeding one of the cows turned around and popped the turn signal lense with her bony butt. Even though this is a ranch truck I have kept it up nice. I have been thinking about new headlights for a while. So has any one used any aftermarket headlights with long term sucess and has anyone seen "improved" ones (crystal or diamond cut like the OBS)? Don't want to buy junk, or overpay either. Thanks!

i have seen a few aftermarkets but nothing i ever liked just get nos headlights from lmc

I bought new ones off of Darrin at the 2012 Rally (not sure where he got them from). Put them in my truck and it was a nice improvement. The one thing i noticed about them though is that i can't seem to find a sweet spot for there adjustment. Like they are nice and light up the front a lot better, but i just have yet to get happy with their adjustment. I even went and compared the lenes of the old ones with the new ones. Overall though i would do it again.

I got nos on craigslist. 125 for both. They still had the clear plastic over them sitting in ford boxes. Sometimes deals find ya.

Really the only way to get one of the kits to work is to sand and sand and sand and wet sand and wet sand and wet sand some more. The clouding that you are seeing is what happens when the plastic oxidizes. If you can get them to clear up with a kit they need to be coated with a UV inhibitor since the sanding will more than likely remove the UV inhibitors already on them. What I have done that I like is to use the xenon bulbs, over standard halogen. The xenon seem to produce a noticeably "whiter" light (to my eyes at least). Have you tried the headlight relay mod? This provides the bulb with closer to 12V than the factory wiring.

So I have one vote for LMC, and one for OEM. Any other experience? No "improved" ones? In the OBS world there are some good "diamond cut" ones and some junk.

I've been eyeballing a set from Amazon. Don't have a clue if they are any good but the price is a little better than LMC. About $165 for the pair IIRC.
