I use the factory spec as a base line. No fancy tool just a meter.

Once I have a base line, a test drive is required. After that I will give the TPS a twist to fine tune it.

So there is really nothing wrong with hunting around for the desired shift schedule. Just don't go to crazy with it.

If you are asking about the factory setting this poster is refering to then this is .96 to 1.2 volts with a digital voltmeter. The C6 uses vacuum and not electric feeds to make the C6 trans shift. I do not have the vacuum setting for that.. Sorry...
