Finally got my SMF/ Clutch kit in. It was pretty epic but I definitely learned a lot. I know the SMF is going to be noisier than the the DMF I took out. What I'm wondering is the signs to look out for telling me something isn't quite right.
There are definitely some new noises. It does growl below 1100 RPMs, no surprise. However, it seems pretty noisy at around 1500, kinda of a solid him sound.
Anyways, I've been driving this truck a while and I always pay close attention to how my vehicles sound, smell, and feel. This is obviously a big change for the vehicle and I just don't know what it SHOULD be like. Lol

I would check anything that might be hitting the drivetrain. My 99 which has the SMF from the factory has gear rollover only when creeping along in 1st and things are just right. This is with 235k original miles.
