I've had a 99 ext cab f250 7.3 powerstroke 4x4 6sp for several years but now I've purchased a 86 f350 crew cab 6.9 4sp 2wd truck and I'm probably gonna need lots of help with it lol. the 6.9 is about worn out and the 4sp is broken so it was dirt cheap. i have a 99 F550 7.3 6sp parts truck that has a blown headgasket. someone cut the truck into behind the cab and i bought it cheap for parts for my 99 250. I'd love to get the 7.3 and the 6sp in the old 86 F350 but the wiring has me on the fence about tackling the job right now. ive built several gas motors and transmissions from a 2.2 mazda to a 2.9 in a ranger and even the 460 i swaped into my fox mustang. A carburetor and a few wires and all the stuff i normally work on is simple and i have a lot to learn before i try this swap. Sorry for the long introduction.
