Hey yall im a new guy on the forum but not new to the diesel world. Ive owned a duramax, A few cummins, And one obs psd, I have a chance to pick up a clean 93 IDI from a buddy of mine with 180 k on the ticker and it has a brandnew rebuilt tranny in it. He has all the records of the tranny being done. i have the chance to get the whole truck for 2500 bucks. I am just wondering if there is anything i should check out before i purchase it. Ive done a compression test on the old girl and all cyclenders are with then check

Well check the sca levels in the coolant. Anything else can be fixed on these trucks fairly cheaply except wormholes.
