New dura lift pump help

I put on my new dura lift pump and it starts the truck way way way slower than the cheap electric you get at a parts store, not only that but when you get one it through a couple gears it dies. It's attacking like the fuel line is clogged but I already cleaned the entire fuel tank and new lines. I also have a cheap fuel filter down by the tank and the faucet is right next to the fuel filter by the engine.

Check the filter by the tank. Also make sure all connections are tight. When I put a epump on my psd, it was too much suction for the factory quick disconnects. I had to bypass the selector valve.

Bypass the extra filter and see how it runs. You probably have too much suction line restriction.
