Just found this on the Hypermax web site, appears they have developed a mechanicly injected powerstroke conversion with an inline pump! Not sure what that would cost but that is cool!

That would be a lot of fuel for an IDI. But THIS GUY is selling 8 cylinder "P-Pumps" for $1000. He says............... they were on 600hp V8's and he's got 6 available apparently.

Who wants one?:D

That guy hasn't answered a question in over a month on what the things came off of. Doesn't look like he's too interested in selling the things... either that or it's taking him a while to come up with a good story , either way, makes you wonder.

I would want a nice Lexan cover over the top of that engine, with a kill switch so if you open the cover, the engine shuts down...

Can't even imagine the kind of havoc one of those lines would unleash if they broke (or a fitting loosened up)

It shouldn't be any different than any other mechanical injected diesel with an inline pump.

some guys are willing to money up that hard if that's what it takes to make them competitive with the cummins guys.

DT466 would fuel their Cummins inadequacies just fine... and be as unique I am thinking...

"I got me a 7oo hp Cummins, cost me 8 grand"

"Oh yeah, I got me a 500 horse PSD, cost me 25 grand"

"Heh, silly IH boy, we Cummins boys still swing a bigger ****, and....have 17 grand more than you to buy diesel with......"

Versus... "Silly cummins boy, I have a 2000 hp DT466... try and pull me, I dare ya......."
