I love my truck; have a lot of blood, sweat, maybe even some tears into it. But, it's just a truck. Trucks can be replaced, loved ones can't. This past week, I saw some good friends of mine loose their 3 month old baby girl; really puts everything into perspective.
I'll be praying for you and your boy....

Like its been said before brother. Family always comes first. I know another family that is in the same boat with the bills, they also run a research group for a cure, so imagine that. Your in our prayers bud.

Regards.

Wow. I know your in here asking about your truck, but honestly.... I just can't get past thinking about being in your shoes. I'm no help what so ever here. Some of life's tragedies just strike me so. God bless you.

Thank You everyone. My wife and I talked about it and I think I am going to press on with the truck. It acts as therapy for me. I have always wanted a OBS 4wd diesel Ford, now I have one, should prolly keep it. Besides, I know BOTH of my sons would not want me to quit....

I lost a cousin when I was your oldest son's age. I know the hurt. I also saw how everyone was doting on the cousin who was ill and completely forgotten the sibling. Those memories don't go away.
we're here to help, whatever it is.
btw...how is the interior? need any plastic parts? color?

You and your family are in my prayers. I am speechless as to what to tell you other than family comes first - shelve the truck until you and the family can work at restoring it. Spend as much time with the family as you can.

As Heath said thank you Calvin for doing what this brotherhood does best.

Are there any parts I can help get? Need a abs control relay from a crown victoria for your head light harness if you haven't done that mod yet?

May the lord bless you and your family. I can understand the therapeutic nature of having a project to work on. I wish I had more to offer but I do send my prayers and best wishes your way.

Oilburners is more than a network about diesels. Most here are very down to earth and family first kind of people. Keep us posted, with or without an IDI, you have made status quo here, the idi will come when the time is right. Best of luck to your whole family in good times and bad.
