Need fast idle solenoid

I need to buy a new fast idle solenoid. Is there any place that carries them besides the stealership? Every parts store so far tells me "what?" and "we don't list that" or "duh".

Thats a dealer or pump rebuilder kind of item. Dealers are a lot more competitively priced than they used to be on some things, out can't hurt to price them out

A new one is about $140. I got a good used working one off of Fleabay.

Are you sure its actually bad? Could it be the temp sensor that triggers it is bad?

If that is bad go to the same place as above. They are $122 for the sensor.
Another thought, is your cold advance solenoid on the IP working, it energizes off the same sensor. Is the connector even plugged in on the sensor, pass side engine under the alternator. Enlarge the pix to full screen and you will see the sensor by the #1 glow plug. That sensor can easily get unplugged.
