need a heater/ac control diagram

so my ac is charged works so much nicer figured out that the vent didn't work because the cable that controls it aint hooked up nor does it work when moving the lever.. you can tell its the cable because you can feel some movement when messing with the lever on the control. i can manually do that so im ok for now but cant figure out why i cant get max ac setting?? it is a 88 f350 cc drw

This is for an 89 from the manual, but it should be close. Under the hood at the heat box there should be a vacuum motor that opens - closes the air blend door. You have to pull the glove box out IIRC remove the cover to see the door, might be stuck partially open, or might be a lot of dirt blocking the evaporator.

mine is different has an a/c button and another switch that says something about max a/c or outside air
