Hello all, This is mainly for Ford250hdxlt, i remeber a while back he posted the part numbers of the SCA filters as well as the napa filter head assembly as well as pics of his install..does anyone have a link to that?

I like teh location, but I wont be putting in all those valves haha.

There are only two valves...I just put the elbows in so that I wouldn't have to bend the hoses as much and create weak points. It does add a considerable amount of weight to the elbows coming off the filter housing, although I haven't had any problems there...but I can understand the reasoning behind not wanting to go that route...

theres lots of ideas in there too and lots on this site as well.
if you run a penray filter to release the sca's as needed,just be sure to do as instructed and run a couple lower cost wix blanks first to clean out the sand casting.

i pretty much just used The Warden's instructions,skipped the valves,and went to a need release filter is all though.so you've got all ya need right there anyway.;Sweet

I like this site.I'm learning a bunch of stuff so give me a low down on the coolant testing strips and sca' s I have had my truck for 4 yrs and never heard of this...

quick question regarding SCA.

how do 3 way strips tell you how much SCA you have? It just measures PH, boiling, and freeze point.?
Im assuming the SCA changes pH level?
