since it's a lever action switch, I'd say it is either a fan switch or the feul switching valve switch for a 83-6. odds are the second is it due to the number of contacts you plug into.

I'm thinking its a fan motor switch by the looks of it. Goggle it....

looks like a dual fuel tank switch or fan switch from a 75 or newer truck. Nuff said!

could also be a rear glass switch for a 80 - 86 bronco, they are mounted next to the a/c controls.

The key to the mystery ...the D5 in the part number and the fact I have pulled about a dozen of those switched both heater and dual fuel tank switch in last year at work.

What would be the determining factor is if it's only a two position or three...two..fuel...three or more fan!

Yup, date codes on Fords are so stupid easy.... C=6 D=7 E=8 F=9. like in the date code above the LETTER dictates the third numeral in the year, the number afterward is the final part of the equation and only dictates the beginning year the part was patented/manufactured. IE: D5= 75= 1975. E7 would equal 87 which would equal 1987. if anyone didn't already know this, now you do.
