$50 Worth of Timken Wheel Bearings/Races, $50 worth of Brake Lines.
So, for a cool Hundie, I have a rrrrealy smooth running front end! I could tell the Bearings were getting bad. Had a nasty vibration @ 40 MPH.
Scored the CHEAP Chinese Races that came on My replacement rotors 35K miles ago. One was galled pretty badly, causing the vibration.
185K miles outta the OEM brake lines. Not bad service duty. Scored a complete set of Motorcrafts off Ebay for $50 (including the rear)
The truck seems sooo much freer wheeling! Prolly pick up a MPG or 2 also!
