Assume you meant to comment on my exhaust leak thread...

I have a 110V flux core and did consider that haha
At least for the leaky slip joint, not the flange

No, for welding the DMF solid. Yes it works. It's pretty clunky and makes a lot of noise at idle, something the extra springs in the LuK plate fixes.

You can do the "lucky mod" but I'd rather just replace it all.
