i have a 1985 f250 6.9 looking to get alil more power from her what are some ideas i could do????

Ask this question over in the 6.9 and 7.3 section. Lots of information available there... How many miles are on the injection pump and injecters.... They usually wear down at around 100,000 to 125,000 mile mark.... We don't "feel" any decrease in proformance but after a pump and injecters... You feel like two extra cylinders have just been added to your engine....

A pyro measures Exhaust Temp. On a diesel they can get really high really easily and melt the pistons. It is a must have if you plan on turning up the fuel or tow alot

Judging by your username I'd guess you have a 6.9 N/A. Soooo, with that out of the way, I would do the ATS 093 turbo kit from a Factory equipped truck, ARP head studs, PSD downpipe, at least 3" straight pipe. That should about do it for the engine.
Now, for the gauges...
Pyrometer (EGT gauge) is a must
2 fuel preuure gauges (one before and one after fuel filter)
Water Temp (replace the Dummy Stick with Pointers)
Oil Press (replace Idiot light with Needle)
Tranny temp (If you have an auto)
Vacuum gauge (If you don't have Hydroboost)
Boost (If you go turbo)
Oil temp (Not really Important but helps with trouble shooting)

Spend the time prepping for a turbo. Pump, injectors, gauges, these will go a long way.

where can i get bigger injectors and the moose pump????? you say the ats turbo why not the banks kit is there any difference?? my trucks 2wd and geared extremely low my top speed is 65 to the floor going down hill i plan to pull a 35 foot goose neck what do you think on air bag suspension instead of helper springs??
you should type idi performance in the search bar.. this question has been asked and answered countless times. same with the moose pump, turbo options, and bb injectors. do some research before you have people go out of their way to help you because you wont help yourself.

Mel (Agnem) or Russ (Typ4) have BB injectors, and Mel has the famous Moose line of products (Injectors, IP's and everything else)
