I would put the sensor in one of the heads since normally the top of the radiator is air and the thermostat housing might not purge till the thermostate opens fully.Plus,this way if you get an air bubble in the head you will know right away

If some of you guys are leaning towards the pressure gauge how about just using a boost gauge???
