Figured i would post some pics of what ive been up to lately, i know everyone loves pics.

My stock bumper was rusted out, and the only thing holding it on was my plow frame. So, I made a new bumper. Mounted 2 lights and gives me a place to tow from.
I wanted to make the stinger come out more, but this allows me to still mount up my plow frame for the winter. I plan to mount a winch on the plow frame horns when im not using the plow

AND...... Its also an air tank! Just need to get a compressor, etc. I want to be able to air up tires, run air tools, and have some air horns!

I found my transmission was just floating on the mount, as the actual bolt holes in the transmission had split in half. I was able to drill 2 new holes farther foreward. I then had to make a new crossmember, as my stocker was rusted out anyhow. pic is kinda dark

Very nice indeed! I do have a question tho, is the bumper as wide as t truck, or slightly narrower? If it's narrower (looks like it in pic #2) I'd be somewhat concerned with something clearing the bumper but not the fender and thus messing up the corner of the front clip. How much air you estimate the bumper holds when used as an air tank?

96 broncos have black windshield trim, also look for the sport broncos, xls F-150s from the mid 80s...

Only the sport broncos had black trim.
Sport F150s, NITE pkg, Lightnings, and XLS from the 80s all had blacked out trim

BLUEBREADTRUCK what did you do the truck in, I forget

Thanks guys, I may just paint the trim myself. gotta decide what color, olive drab or black?

The bumper is a bit narrower than the truck, it goes about from headlight to headlight(outside). I just thought it looked best that way? dunno

Its super thick steel, probably a 1/4"+ thick so that cuts down on the capacity, but I would say around 4-5 gallons of air. Its actually 4" Ridgid Conduit for electrical, measures almost 5" outside dia.

the truck is painted in duraback.

Thanks for the comments

I'd say black for the windshield trim and olive for the headlight bezels. Or you can switch them, tho I'm not too sure if that won't look sorta outta place...
