lossing coolant.

well i am lossing coolant, and dont know why? the upper hose is not rock hard i can still squeeze it. after running. now i went and bought more dexcool, and when i took the cap off the coolant rose in the tank. well i add some more to it drove it 12 miles home and the light came back on. LOW COOLANT light. well i got out and i could squeeze the top hose, well i meesed with it could not get the temp over 165. idling. well i went out after it cooled some more squeezed the top hose and i could hear air and coolant like draining, well the coolant went lower in the tank and i added more coolant. have not drove it yet. any ideas what is wrong

I had similar problem. Its probably the injector cups/sleeves. For the longest time I was worried that I might have a blown headgasket. It didnt make sense though because no coolant in the oil and power was still good. It would lose coolant intermittently and smoke off and on as well.
