looking for turbo

i'm looking for a turbo from a 1996 or later 6.5l diesel. GM-5 or GM-8. my turbo is getting lots of play and is just out of its efficiency for the boost i'm running. anyone have anything used and cheap? just PM ME!

you're better off getting yours rebuilt by russ.
GM 6.5 turbos are weak dogs. I grafted on a wastegated Banks from a IH idi onto a 6.5 and immeadiately woke up the throttle response.

I know where theres a 6.5 turbo diesel in the junkyard. I thing its a 96 and is on a running truck. I could check on a price if your interested.

yea but i want the efficiency. my turbo is maxxed out(14lbs of boost) not gonna do what i want it to. the 6.5l(well the later ones) are much more efficient than a factory or the other kits. those turbos are matched to the motor like the fuel system. to run with a close margin of use to limit(if that makes sense)

You just need the turbo itself and nothing else correct.

i think all i need is the turbo. unless you can cut the oil lines so i dont have o fab an adapter or hunt one down forever. not sure what they are though either.
