Looking for oil leak

I think my oil leak is coming from either the front cover or the front seal. I do remember the seal we put in was kinda hard, but the old one was soft. Shouldn't it be soft to make a good seal? Also I remember someone saving something about putting a sleeve on the harmonic balancer, is there a tolerance for it? I am about to tear it all apart and change the front seal again and put in a different harmonic balancer?

I changed out the harmonic balancer, but before I did It I had a spare front seal and put it around the balancer and the one on the truck fit real loose compared to the one I am about to put on it. Hopefully it was just a worn out shaft on the harmonic balancer. I also replaced the clutch fan since its out right now. I did notice there is oil all over the front of the motor, You think the fan could of just blown it all over?

Yeah, the fan could easily blow oil around to make it hard to tell where its coming from. When I first bought my truck it leaked every type of fluid. It took me weeks to figure it all out because I'd clean it all up, fix one thing and then as soon as I'd start the motor it would blow all over the place. A viscous cycle.

Pretty sure its coming from the injector pump where it mounts to the motor. I cleaned it all up took it for a good drive and the top of the water pump is all oil soaked and the ip is the only place it could be coming from. Anyone got tips on doing this? How can it be done without removing the front timing cover? I dont want to knock it out of time....How long can I expect it to take to do this?
