Looking for help determining truck value...

Hey all,

Looking to potentially sell my truck in the foreseeable future, and I'm really not sure what it's worth. Hoping you'll all have some wisdom.


It's a 1991 f250 withe the 7.3 idi with the ats 093 turbo on it. Approximately 270,000 miles. E4OD transmission rebuilt maybe 70,000 miles ago. Couple decent sized dents in the doors and bed, but not smashed up. Not much rust at all. Pretty clean on the inside, almost no tears in the upholstery. Recently replaced the transmission computer with one out of a 93 (I think).

What do you guys think on an approximate value / what someone might be willing to pay for it?

Blue book price +/- local vehicle prices is a good starting point.

I'd say a lot of it depends on where you are at, Craigslist your area and the surrounding counties for similar trucks.

No rust, turbo, built trans are all high selling points to me.

(Sometimes your insurance can help with appraisal)

Hopefully you are selling it for a nicer rig!
