So I have two spring packs with 3 leafs in each pack, each spring in the pack is about 5/16" thick and they are tapered, theyre fattest where the pin goes through.
all together in the pack they are about 2 1/8" thick in the fattest taper part.
would I need to put all three underneath the front axle to achieve a 2" lift?
It's going to make it extremely still with 5 total leafs up front. (wonder if it might even hurt the suspension?)
I talked to a guy at our local truck shop he said just to put one spring under the front of the truck on each side and it should give me close to the 2" I'm after.
any help or opinions count.
front axle is a dana 60 with 2 factory non arched springs on each side
