No wind resistance... It should have towed easily.... These engines will pull loaded all day long without giving up....

Yeah its funny now that I have this type of truck I actually look forward to putting a load on it to test it. Ill be pulling a 24ft travel trailer to nc on wed. I think its only around 4,5k lbs or so. We'll see how she does with a brick behind her for resistance.:D

EDIT-

There were several grades on the way to the hr away job site that made the drive more interesting. Most 15% or less but there was one 35% about half mile long. It took about 1/2 throttle to maintain speed. Thats the first time since Ive owned it that I saw even a hint of "coal". I swear I baby this thing probably too much.

Sorry meant 25. Give or take. It was about midway between 0 & 45. Steep enough.

Maybe I should switch the towing arrangement around? drive the big one tow the little one :D
