Kick Panel Enclosers

Has anyone tried these? With the enclosures and speakers I'm looking to spend $400+ to upgrade my system

I was literally just thinking about these. Are the ones pictured for a gen 8 or gen 9?

I have them. They have been laying in the "storage" truck for 2 years now. Look like they would work in any of the 3 body styles. Main thing is moving the dimmer switch on the 80-91 trucks. I now have all three body styles. On the 87-97 trucks the hood release needs to be moved

what kind of system are you putting in your rig? Ive been wanting to uprgrade mine for awhile, nothing crazy just two coaxial speakers or whatever their called. I just want a little bit of bass

I've been running a couple 6.5 Pioneers and a 10 inch sub for a couple years now, and that does the job for me. I usually avoid the kick panel mounting in a truck I am using as a truck because they are going to .. well get kicked. Back when I was young and foolish I built all kinds of crazy stereo systems. I've seen these installed and they do the job they were built for.

do you run a amp for the door speakers?

I'm not running an amp for the door speakers, the decks nowadays seem to do a pretty good job of driving speakers, and just to make me sound real old, I only have a 240W amp powering the 10 inch sub behind the seat. It still drowns out my low geared diesel on the highway.
