what advantages does kevlar provide? i e-mailed a company on e-bay about a kevlar clutch, but it was for a 7.3 with the 5 speed. they said they can make me a kevlar clutch (better be a whole kit) for $200. or i can get a standard LUK for like...$150..?

Kevlar grabs better ( meaning that you don't need to have a pressure plate that requires the left leg of a linebacker to get the grab of a heavy duty organic lining clutch ) and the kevlar lasts WAY longer.

On mine, I instantly noticed smoother engagement, especially when having to spend a lot of time trying to work a trailer in or out of a rough spot, and no matter how much I have to rev and slip it, no burning clutch smell and no fade.
Unlike Ceramic linings, they don't want to chatter when trying to slip at low speed.
