It Finally Paid Off...

Well after chasing all over the web for a place to repair my kent moore timing meters I finally found a positive note. I got an answer back today via Email that all SPX needs is my authorization to investigate what wrong when they recieve the meters. What the shop will do is find out whats wrong and email me an estimate for repairs... Gees... Why was that so hard. The factory thats about 25 miles from my home wont help me but... They will sell me a new meter for $650.00..... I don't think so..... Scooter..... So, if things go like I hope they do I will have some meters that work. Then I can send them to those that want to time their motors... Things are looken up....

I did call a few weeks ago on the snapon meter. The person has not been able to test it on a motor like ours or a 6.5 yet. He will but its been several months now. I am getting kinda tired of being put off about it. I'll probably be looking for another shop to fix whats wrong with it but for now I just wait... And wiat...

You need a local IDI guy to offer to see him in person and offer the use of said IDI as a test mule. Honestly a win-win for all involved and no risk of harm to anyone. Can't hurt anything but your feelings if it doesn't work.
