The seller is Summit Racing. In the ad they list a phone number: 800-517-1035 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting**************800-517-1035******end_of_the_skype_highlighting. They might know the answer to your question. 
Apparently that is a Skype number. I have no idea whether it will work on a regular phone. If not, their web site will have a number to call.

hey thanks man. I ordered all of my other gauges VDO and would like to keep the tach that way too if possible. by the way your freaking bug in your sig got me!! i spent about 5 seconds blowing on it until i tried to smash it
