IP question

on my 86 F250 I can be running along and it will realy get to rattling and a lot of black and gray smoke is it time for a new IP ?

If your saying the sound and speed is changing without your foot moving, then yes either your pump is going out, or you have a fuel delivery problem. How many miles are on the IP?

that is a good question the od shows 99+K
the speed does not change just the sound and the smoke
only had the truck a short time
