LP as in lift pump
;Sweet Make sense . I am little slow tonight .. But i don't see that's possible specially with it pulling really strong up to 3200RPM's on 2nd gear ..I would think that i will do the same if it's bad LP

Still could be the lift pump. You are not burning as much fuel at 3200 in a lower gear, as you would be at 2600 in high gear pushing a lot of wind resistance. I love my Faucet lift pump. I would never go back to the mechanical.

You could pressure test the pump.

Also, when was the last time you replaced the fuel filter?

You just plain ran out of HORSEPOWER.

I was waiting for you to lay down the hard truth about the 7.3 IDI ... I suspected that but wasn't convinced ( Specially not knowing the history of the IP beside it's OEM )
