In an effort to de-stress the orings under the caps, I have made the hoses slightly longer to create a bow.
By alternating sides to each cap the s-turns are stress free. Thought this would be better than straight and rocking the caps.
Good or bad idea.
Fyi: Using new OEM Ford caps. Nice firm click when seated.
..003 to .005 smaller than Dipaco brand on o- ring inner dia.

I did my F250's 2 years ago, never leaked since. The IP inlet olive likes to start leaking annually but just snugging it down seems to solve it. I'm not sure if it's just looking loose or if it's the seal itself. I bought new olives but then bought my E350 IDI motorhome. The F250 is currently sitting stored, so... I see no point in doing them now.

Just did the E350's orings the other day. No more overnight air intrusion caused stalls after 5 seconds on cold mornings. The olives are on hand in case it ever needs them, though it wouldn't be a fun job on it. If there was some way to delete the need for olives, this thing is a prime candidate for it.
