Important CPS recal info

I finally took my 02 in for the CPS recal and got almost $200 back from them. My service writer asked me if I changed it and when I produced the recepts for 2 CPS I was reimbursed for both. One was from Ford and the other was from ebay. If you take your truck in for this make sure you have recepts from previous replacements

I tried when replacing the CPS in the F250 and brought them a receipt from a repair shop and a receipt from IH.

Ford claimed they did not compensate for CPS's bought at IH dealerships but for some reason decided to pay full invoice for the repair bill. Funny thing is they did more than just swapping out the CPS, $400! All in all I couldn't complain considering the repair was made over 4 years ago.

sorry it did nt work out s well fr you. I guess it is just another thing to chaulk up to dealership descretion.
