No Wife or kids.

the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem....

Problem? Who has a problem?

Whats wrong with it?

trans is tired, slips when it gets hot.

Well, if you look on the front of the grille you'll notice a small golden, almost retangular shaped emblem. It's hard to see in this photo but it's there.... :rotflmao:rotflmao:rotflmao

hey now. I am by no means a Chevy fan, but they do make a quality vehicle. I was actually relieved it had a big block and not a 6.5 in it.

wait a second...this is the same guy giving me crap for hauling my ext cab home with a suburban....cookoocookoo:backoff:backoff;Really

:cheers::cheers:

I just bought it to flip it, not drive it

Brad, Brad, Brad....what are you doing? Are you trying to get yourself committed?!?!? All those REALLY nice Ford trucks you got and you had to buy a chevy?!?! J/K

It looks like it's in fairly good shape and if you got it for less than scrap price you done REAL good. That running 454 should be worth a bit, as well as those 19.5 rims and rubber, PLUS the fact it dumps! Even though I am a hardcore blue oval fan, I think you done well here.

What are the plans? Fix the trans and sell her?

Yeah. I found a used trans for 600. I put that in, buff it out and sell it for about 5k.

But 1st I have to get going on my F550

Those 3500hd are a pretty serious truck, I wonder why they call them a 3500? And yes, the 454 makes it a better truck.

It was a direct competitor to the F-superduty(F450)

I dont know why chevy called them a 3500HD just like i dont know why ford called theirs the F-superduty
chevy 4500 and ford f450 would have been MUCH simpler.
I am sure it was some stupid making ploy
