Hydroboost question

Getting ready to switch to hydroboost on the '92. I've read the tech threads and got most of the info I need. The write-ups list:
-Booster
-Pressure hose from pump to booster
-Pressure hose from booster to box
-Reservoir for pump

What do you do for the return hose for the booster?

I won't have to modify my brake pedal will I?

You can use any hydraulic type line, but they make a power steering return line hose, just don't use fuel line (hydraulics will eat it up). The ps return hose isn't real expensive, I think a couple of bucks a foot.

Also , you are most likely going to have to just put a T in the return line. All the catalogs were screwed up last time I checked and it was impossible to get a replacement PS pump cover with the double return inlets, THey all showed the things but every time ordered one I ended up getting a single inlet cover , and it didn't matter where I ordered it from right down to the dealer. A T is a fully acceptable method of running a return line and is listed as one of the methods for routing the hydraulics for that type of system by the manufacturer, I went ahead and did it on mine and it works fine

I took the part number (from the parts bin) to the dealer up where I work and they had no problem getting the right one.

Got my booster from a '94 Superduty. It came with the master cylinder: is there any reason not to use my original one?
Getting a rebuilt pump and the pressure lines tomorrow. Hope to have good brakes by Friday.

I have collected all the parts and installed the HB, the correct pedal, the two Pressure lines that came with the HB unit also fit my PS pump and Steering box.
I also found the PS resivour with to return ports, that is where I get lost, cant seem to find a good pic on how to correctly hook this up, I always here about the tee but I bought the resivour. anyone have a pic or can describe the proper hose routing? Some times the most simple stuff just makes me stupid

As an update...

Finished installing the system today, and the results are exactly what I wanted: a firm pedal and quick stops.

I used the hydroboost and master cylinder out of a '94 Superduty. I picked up the lines and a power steering pump from O'reillys, also for a '94 Superduty.
I bought 4' of 11/32" power steering rubber hose for the return line (used about 38"). Added a cap on the vacuum tee, and had to make a 3/16 tubing plug for the extra port on the master cylinder (cruise switch was missing, and my truck does not have cruise).

The install was pretty basic, and everything fit well with no leaks. If anyone has any questions you may PM me.

Glad its all worked out well for you. Now... Welcome to the best brake upgrade these rigs have ever seen... Be careful to always use your seat belt... Or nose prints on the windshield are going to happen....
