hydroboost pump ???

Is there a difference in the p.s. pump on a 1997 Fsuperduty with a 460 and a 1993 Fsuperduty with a 7.3? The reason I ask is that I am trying to round up hydroboost swap parts and the 1997 FSD with the 460 is local and free for the hydroboost parts.

Im taking a guess but Im going to go with no so long as it is in fact hydroboost.

As far as I know...no no difference other than mounting brackets, and maybe the pulley.

Get a tape and measure the diameter of pulley if same good to go IMHO.

I'd say that you should gitterdun!

Same part number - when you purchase the pump new it doesn't come with the pulley anyways, so using the pulley off your non hydro pump may be necessary anyways.
