How to remove ignition lock cylinder without keys?

I missed that snap ring with mine and kept drilling, made a bigger mess . ended up selling the truck and passing on a touchy ignition to him, he still has the truck 4yrs later and hasn't fixed it properly

Jasper i finally got it! now the new tumbler is just barely not fitting... im lining the grooves up with the pin pressed in but it just wont slide in ahhh so frustrating.

I think mine had be in the RUN position to install the lock set. Can anyone else verify this?

I finally got it... turns out napa sold me the wrong tumbler, i got the right one and it slid right in. Thanks again for all the help!
