I dought they are seasoned. That takes time and time is money. Yes, I did put a lot of TLC into these heads. I wanted something smooth so the air would flow as best it could. I thought of having ceramic applied to the precups in the heads but the thought of how much heat and expansion made me think the ceramic may come off. I did have a custom ball end mill made and I milled the chambers about .060 into the heads because Frod pulled the injectors that much out of the heads so the motors would burn cleaner. It would have been easier to just mill the injector copper gasket mating surface in the heads .060 deeper into the heads but the precups were really ruff so I went that way instead. After the motor is broken in I will have it dynoed just to see if any of this custom work has any effect on hp and torque. Someone on the "other" site posted that I was killing my heads by porting them. He stated that a friend had done this to his heads and it killed them. I'm very sure he was talking about "gas" heads. All we do is suck or blow in just as much air as we can. Then it gets compressed and THEN the diesel in injected into the precups. We don't have the problem of gas beading up on the intake or ports and slobbering into the cylinders causing all kinds of trouble. We just push in as much air as we can. Its almost the more the better but we do have limits Now with Kens studs and an intercoller the skys the limit almost. Then we can add grill gas, window washer fluid and nitrous just to cool things down..
